The GBF offline degasser now incorporates an HTE heater to address the challenges of degassing and cooling of die-cast aluminum melt. The GBF system, deployed at an aluminum alloy casting manufacturer, previously suffered from persistent temperature decay of the molten aluminum and uneven temperature distribution during the degassing process when no heater was installed. The installation of a heater offers several advantages for the degassing process: precise temperature control, uniform temperature distribution across the entire process zone, and delayed equipment wear. |

The heater is set to 800°C, providing a buffer zone for heat loss while maintaining the temperature.
The integration of the HTE system ensures stable temperature of the molten aluminum during the degassing process, achieves uniform temperature distribution across the entire zone, and reduces molten aluminum loss; the heater is integrated with the GBF offline degassing unit, enabling independent implementation of molten aluminum temperature maintenance and refining operations without occupying the production capacity of the smelting furnace; the stable molten aluminum temperature prevents fluidity fluctuations caused by temperature drops, thereby reducing the operational load on the entire degassing system and decreasing the frequency of spare part replacements.
